Researcher

João Homem Cristo António has a Masters and a Bachelor's degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL). His academic and professional career has been focused on two main areas: (1) the study of inter-group relations and (2) research methodologies and data analysis. He has been studying inter-group relations, identity and discrimination since 2000, having participated in several research projects at the Centre for Social Research and Intervention (CIS - ISCTE) and at the Center for Portuguese Speaking Peoples and Cultures (CEPCEP) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP). In the second field, to which he has dedicated himself with greater interest since 2004, he has coordinated various studies, surveys and opinion polls carried out by CATÓLICA-CESOP (Centre for Studies and Opinion Polls - UCP).

Since 2011, he is the technical coordinator of the political polls of CATÓLICA-CESOP. He is the author of several books, chapters and scientific articles.

He is the coordinator of the Sustainable Development Index at municipal level.
