Joana de Abreu

Researcher

Joana da Mota de Abreu has a Masters and a Bachelor's degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from the University of Bordeaux. She focused her research on Psychology of Commitment and Social Psychology of the Environment. For her Master's thesis, she conducted a study of consumption habits as part of a territorial diagnosis carried out for a project to create a rehabilitation center for used objects. She specialized in Sustainable Development and is certified by the SDG Academy of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) of the United Nations.

She is a Researcher at CESOP-Local, the Applied Research Unit of the Centre for Studies and Opinion Polls of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, since 2017. She is Co-author of the Sustainable Development Index at municipal level.
